The statement that follows is in line with our policy of issuing regular updates on trading, for the previous six months, shortly after the end of the first half and the full year.  The figures in this statement are unaudited.  As usual, the Group will comment on the trading outlook when the half year results are announced on 22 January 2004.  Within this statement all comments relating to operating profit are pre goodwill amortisation The current year and comparative results reflect the restatements described in the 2003 Report and Accounts and during the 2003 analyst presentations (copies of which are available on our web site) in respect of the reallocation of certain Group expenses to the divisions, the implementation of FRS 17 'Retirement Benefits' and the change in presentation of the IFA network provisions.

28/08/2003 Misys Signs Major Banking Software Contract with WestDeutsche Landesbank

Misys plc (Misys) subsidiary, Summit Systems Inc. (Summit), has signed one of its largest banking software contracts with The Global Financial Markets division of Westdeutsche Landesbank (WestLB). The bank selected Summit for a major consolidation of its systems environments in its London, Düsseldorf, Tokyo and New York offices. The phased implementation, that has commenced with a successful ‘go-live’ in London, will conclude in Q1 2004.

Misys plc, the global software products and solutions company, today announces that further to the announcement on 19 June 2003 of the signature of the asset purchase agreement, Misys Healthcare Systems, has completed the asset purchase of the Patient1® product line from Per-Sè Technologies, Inc. 19/06/2003 Misys Agrees to Acquire Market-Leading Clinical Software from Per-Se Technologies Inc

Misys plc, the global software products and solutions company, today announces that Misys Healthcare Systems, has signed an Asset Purchase Agreement with Per-Se Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSTI) to acquire the market-leading Computerized Patient Record/Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPR/CPOE) product line currently marketed as Patient1®. (See Notes to Editors for more information.) This product line had revenues of approximately US$25 million in calendar year 2002. The transaction is expected to have a neutral impact on earnings in the year to May 31, 2004 before one-off integration costs, which will be incurred during the first year of ownership. Further details will be provided on 17 July 2003 during the Group’s preliminary results presentation for the year ended 31 May 2003.

DBS Financial Management (‘DBS’) today criticised the “previous DBS management regime” in response to the decision by the Financial Services Authority (‘the FSA’) to impose a fine of £100,000 on the company.
