Pre-Conference Risk Forum

Misys hosted a Risk forum on 2nd September in the Millenium hotel in London. The forum was attended by Risk professionals who were attending the annual Misys customer conference as well as non-Misys customers.

Peter Bonisch from Paradigm Risk led the keynote presentation on the feasibility of a consolidated approach to Risk Management. Click here to download the presentation.

The forum was incredibly interactive with a panel discussion focused on cultural, process & technological challenges to complete integration of enterprise Risk.

It was decided that to manage risk effectively integration is needed yet there are many psychological & structural barriers to overcome.

Technology can assist by being very open to interfacing to multiple systems & connecting siloed departments.

Damian Shaw Williams moderated the panel which was made up of represenatives from ZKB, Bayern LandesBank, IBM, Sybase & Misys.
