Day 1 - Misys European Customer Conference 2010 - the event kicked off with a welcome lunch followed by an opening welcome plenary from Dermot Briody, European Sales Director, and senior Misys Executives Edward Ho and Al-Noor Ramji in the packed conference room. To round off the opening group session, our guest speaker was Peter Hahn, a lecturer on the principles of finance, corporate finance, company valuations and banking issues. 

During the 3 day conference we hosted a record crowd of 280 delegates from across Europe.

Conference Sessions & Networking in the Misys Exchange - delegates had the opportunity to network with peers and attend a broad range of sessions over the 3 day conference featuring demos and discussion groups, tailored breakouts, user group forums, panel discussions, workgroups and streamed plenary sessions.

Misys Welcome Drinks Reception & Dinner in the Disney Studios - we couldn’t go to Disney without treating our customers to some of the Disney experience, and on the first evening IBM joined us in sponsoring our Disney studios experience. Here our delegates got to enjoy the company of the most renowned Disney characters including meeting and greeting with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. As we hosted dinner and drinks, delegates were also able to fully enjoy the thrill of the Disney experience by jumping on a few of the popular rides including the infamous Tower of Terror.

Day 2 - the conference continued with a broad range of sessions featuring demos and discussion groups, tailored breakouts, user group forums, panel discussions, workgroups and streamed plenary sessions.

Misys Exchange featuring the Misys Solution Zone, Info Zone and Partner Zone - the Expo Hall was packed with some 30 Misys solution and Partner demonstration pods, the BankFusion dome showcasing our 'game-changing' solution, as well as a Partner dome dedicated to additional breakout sessions and discussions.

On our final night Misys hosted our Annual Gala Dinner  - which was sponsored by HCL. We also took the opportunity to recognise some of our clients over the past year for their custom and achievements they have made through using our solutions. Edward Ho, EVP & GM Misys, awarded the following banks; Investec, Bank of Cyprus, Deutsche Bank, Societe Generale, Olayan, Dankse, Credit Agricole, KFW, African Development Bank, and Mizuho. We finished off the evening with a drinks reception in the Times Square hall with an added feature of an Oxygen Bar giving our customers a chance to wind down.
