Now in its second year, Finastra will host its annual Nordics conference – an afternoon of engaging and thought-provoking panel debates. Three panels will touch on the regulatory burden; accelerating cloud adoption; and the most digitally-advanced and innovative banking projects in the region in 2017. Each panel will be made up of independent speakers, from banking associations; consultancies; media agencies and banks.

What to Expect

Challenger banks, new customer-engagement models, P2P, digitalisation, simplification, cloud – these are all hot agenda items for banks in the Nordics, Baltics and across Europe. But is banking truly being disrupted – as the news headlines tell us – or is it interrupted? We are witnessing established banks redefining the new banking agenda, partnering with fintechs, evolving the way they engage customers and harness data – but the future of banking is still with the banks.

Finastra will host an afternoon of engaging and thought-provoking panel debates, which will address these opportunities and challenge the status quo. Three panels will touch on the regulatory burden; accelerating cloud adoption; and the most digitally-advanced and innovative banking projects in the region in 2017. Each panel will be made up of independent speakers, from banking associations; consultancies; media agencies and banks.

At this free conference, we are expecting up to 100 delegates from across banking and capital markets – predominantly C-level, and heads of business line. Following the 'speed panels' which will feature industry leaders and provocateurs, we will have entertainment and a cocktail reception.
