Misys plc announces that on 25 January 2008 it purchased from JPMorgan Cazenove
Limited 250,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 171.5952 pence per
share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the
above purchase, Misys plc holds 48,320,718 ordinary shares in treasury, and has
503,406,318 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
