Misys appoints Group Communications Director

Misys plc ("Misys"), the global software products and solutions group, today announces that it has appointed Susan Cottam as Group Communications Director.

The role includes responsibility for public relations, internal communications and the group brand. Susan reports directly to Executive Chairman Kevin Lomax and is based in the Group's London Corporate Office.
 
Susan Cottam was previously Director, Corporate Communications at Cable and Wireless plc, from August 1999 to January this year. Prior to that, she was Director of Public Relations for the Barclays Group from 1995-98, having joined it in 1990 as Corporate PR Manager. Earlier communications roles were with Coopers & Lybrand and London Business School, as well as with the civil service.
