NEW YORK, NY (November 15, 2007) – Misys (FTSE: MSY.L), the global applications software and services company, today announced the appointment of Robert (Bob) McCormick as vice president, Global Alliances, effective immediately. This aims to provide banks with a broad set of solutions from one source, helping them reduce complexity, grow revenue, increase flexibility and lower costs.

Misys plc, the global software and solutions company, today (28 August 2007) announces that Misys Healthcare Systems and iMedica, an emerging leader and developer of healthcare software solutions for small physician practices, have signed a strategic agreement to drive greater adoption of healthcare IT in the United States. Under terms of the agreement, Misys will license iMedica’s innovative electronic health record (EHR) and practice management (PM) solutions as the foundation for a new family of physician offerings focused on small practices. Misys will pay an aggregate $13m in cash to iMedica, $8m for a minority equity stake in the company and $5m for licensing technology that will serve as the foundation for new physician offerings. Misys will also gain a seat on the Board of iMedica.

Misys plc announces today (22 July 2007) that it is rebalancing its Healthcare portfolio and disposing of businesses which are not consistent with its strategy. In order to improve performance and focus on its stated core competency in Healthcare, Misys will re-align the business around its established position in the ambulatory space.

Misys plc, the global software and solutions company, announces today (15 May 2007) that it has agreed to sell 100% of its independent financial advisers support services business, Sesame, to Friends Provident plc. The gross proceeds from the sale are expected to be in excess of £90m, comprising £75m in cash together with a reduction of £17m in the existing guarantee that Misys is required to fund. A further balancing payment/receipt will be determined by reference to the completion balance sheet of Sesame at 31 May 2007.
