Misys Healthcare Systems and CompONE Expand Relationship to Provide Electronic Medical Records Solution to Medical Practices
RALEIGH, N.C. and OKLAHOMA CITY (April 21, 2005) – Strengthening an existing business relationship, Misys Healthcare Systems and CompONE today announced an enhanced partnership that enables more physician practices to utilize electronic medical records (EMR) via an application service provider model.
Through the alliance, CompONE – a leading provider of medical billing and practice management services – is adding Misys EMR™ to the suite of Misys applications it offers medical practices. In addition to the product, CompONE will provide front-level support and training for the application, as well a variety of proprietary value-added applications. CompONE currently has about 200 physician practice clients that already use Misys’ practice management solutions through its ASP services.
