Local Area Networks, UNIX and iSeries technologies – we used them all to deliver the functionality our customers needed at the price they needed.

We delivered a competitive to our customers by leveraging client / server technologies in the branch, via Branchpower and Equation Branch Automation, enabling 100,000 tellers worldwide to deliver service to their customers. To extend customer service across other channels we delivered our own real-time, online Transaction Processing System and created Misys Message Manager to link systems together seamlessly.

In the 1990’s we designed Trade Innovation, with trade finance professionals in mind – providing SLA-based capabilities and Misys Trade Portal to extend these capabilities to customers. In addition, we recognised the growth our customers were focussing on with Treasury & Capital Markets and took our Opics for treasury and Summit for derivatives trading solutions to our customers to become leaders in these areas too. Providing solutions that automated processes effectively and kept up with the high pace of change, volume of trading and risks associated with these markets has kept Misys at the forefront of these businesses.
