Misys plc Chief Financial Officer

Misys plc (FTSE: MSY.L) the global applications software and services company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Wilson to the position of Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.

Stephen Wilson joined Misys in May 2009 as Vice President, Group Finance, responsible for Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Tax, Treasury and Internal Audit. Prior to joining Misys he worked at IBM for over 25 years where he developed his financial career most recently as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for IBM UK and Ireland.

Stephen Wilson graduated from Cambridge University with a Degree in Mathematics and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Misys wishes to thank James Gelly, the company’s outgoing CFO, for his contribution as he returns to ValueAct Capital. We wish James well in his future career.
