Summit FT's operational workflow capabilities capture the
complex lifecycle of OTCs. From automated confirmation generation,
settlement messaging and payment processing through to real-time
trade position viewers and accounting, Summit FT enables banks to
streamline their operations, improve straight-through-processing
(STP) and lower costs. The solution features easy to
configure STP workflows. Managing by exception, the system
focuses on the deals, tasks (such as automated rate resets) and
events that need attention, using desktop alerts and notifications
to advise the user. Real-time event driven workflow includes
the generation of the relevant documents and messages - including
cash and securities confirmations, netting and payment messaging.

market standards
Summit FT captures counterparties for central counterparty
clearing within the trading screens. Through a partnership with
MarkitServ, the system is able to connect directly to central
counterparties, SEFs and trade repositories; a feature that

Accounting
Summit FT provides a flexible accounting module that manages the
full range of lifecycle events, for all asset classes, efficiently
and effectively. It enables multiple accounting treatments to be
run and facilitates back-valuation, automatic posting and account
reclassification, while maintaining book and value-dated
balances.
Reporting and business intelligence
Hundreds of standard reports are included, ranging from audit
reports to portfolio position breakouts and consolidated P&L.
Summit Business Intelligence is a powerful tool that provides
full reporting and analytics on transactional and computed data
held within Summit FT. It enables users to build their own reports
without IT support; the building of customizable dashboards to view
STP bottlenecks; and creation of regulatory reports for Dodd-Frank,
for example.
